Themeover provides a marketplace where Micro Themes can be bought and sold.

Buying Micro Themes

Micro Themes are a great way to differentiate your WordPress website from other WordPress websites that use the same parent theme as you. Micro Themes are a non-intrusive way to re-skin a regular WordPress theme. They only do one thing – change the default design of a regular theme – so you can rest assured that you won’t lose the functionality of your current theme.

The Micro Themes on our marketplace are always specific to a particular WordPress theme, so be sure filter the gallery listings accordingly (if you want to redesign a particular parent theme).

To install a Micro Theme you have 2 options.

1. If you want the option of customising your Micro Theme, you’ll need to purchase the Microthemer plugin, and then load and customise your theme with that.
2. If you’re not fussed about editing your Micro Theme, you can install the free Microloader plugin, and then load your Micro Theme with that.

Selling Micro Themes

Selling on the Themeover marketplace is easy. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Watch our Introducing Microthemer, Introducing Micro Themes and Dissecting Microthemer videos
2. Purchase Microthemer
3. Read our Author Guidelines and checkout out Author Resources before you start.
4. Build your Micro Theme with Microthemer (use a blank slate theme as a starting point)
5. Register for free as Themeover member
6. Upload your theme
7. We pay you 40% commission every time we sell one of your themes (up to 52% if you join our affiliate program).
