Hi, I have an issue out of the blue with Microthemer on one of my sites. I hadn’t used it for quite a while, went to tweak some CSS using Microthemer yesterday and it just wouldn’t work. It is hanging on load, and the Google Dev Console is showing a list of 403 errors for JS scrips. I can’t for the life of me work out what’s causing it. Tried disabling various plugins that potentially impact sitewide JS minification/loading (BPS Pro security plugin and Litespeed Cache), also disabled Mod Security temporarily on the server… still no joy. Here are the errors showing in Chrome dev console as Microthemer attempts to load. ace.js:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () Any idea what could cause this? Appreciate any help you can offer — will keep troubleshooting this end. |

Hey, If this isn’t caused by a plugin (like BPS Pro security) I recommend raising a ticket with your web host. 403 is a server error. It means your server prevented a file from being loaded, in this case it is not allowing any of Microthemer’s JavaScript files to load. I suspect this is due to some kind of misconfiguration somewhere, as JavaScript files are loaded on most web pages, and certainly throughout the WordPress admin area. Cheers, |
