Hi Sebastian
We just purchased the lifetime license. Now I wanted to intall Microthemer on another website (same hosting) and I got this message.

Microthemer activation failed – There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.

The first installation was smooth without any problems. What did I do wrong?

Sorry to hear about this issue. I’d be happy to troubleshoot this for you, but I would need access to the server logs. I will email you directly as the forum isn’t the place to share server logs.

Thanks for providing further details Oliver, this is fixed now.

There was a database connection issue on my server that receives the activation request, which was preventing anyone from activating their license. I appreciate you alerting me to this before it affected too many people.
