Saving Changes [changes not remaining]

Heads up! this post was created when Microthemer was at version 4. The current version is 7. Some references to the interface may be out of date.

Hi,
I installed everything successfully, I purchased it and validated it and all that was fine. I make changes on the Microthemer and click on the save button, however they do get undone. When I refresh the website I cannot see any of the changes that I made.

Please help. Thanks

ps if the changes are only not present when you view the site outside of Microthemer, it could be a caching issue. If you use a caching plugin like w3 total cache you, emptying the cache might solve the issue.
