Hi there,

I’m sorry to hear things aren’t currently working as expected. Three things come to mind:

– There may be a mismatch with the behind-the-scenes CSS selectors if you have changed the default “.art-” CSS prefix. This tutorial explains the issue and provides a fix: https://themeover.com/artisteer-with-art-css-prefix-removed-customized/
– Another Artisteer user just reported problems with using Microthemer on Artisteer Themes built with the aid of the Templateer addon. I intend to get to the bottom of why this may be. But at the moment I’m still working on a diagnosis. I’ll write back here when I’ve sussed it.
– You may need to enable !important on Microthemer’s preferences page. Some Artisteer styles are defined with !important and the only way to override them is to enable !important declarations in Microthemer. However, that would only affect a select few elements. If you’re noticing problems on all elements something else is probably the cause.

If none of the above issues are relevant to your situation, I’d be happy to take a look at your site if you can provide me with a link (and login details – if you feel comfortable doing that, please email to our support@ email address).

Regards,

Sebastian

Thanks Sebastian – re-assuring there’s somebody out there.

Yes, we do use the templateer on most of our sites. I’ll try the “!” important thing.
It’s tricky as this is the first time we’ve tried your plugin, so not sure how things are supposed to work.

Cheers

OK, there was a javascript name conflict that caused the colorpicker to not work properly with Templateer aided Artisteer Themes. This problem is now fixed in Microthemer 1.1.8.

You can easily update Microthemer via WordPress. Just follow these instructions and be sure to follow step 3 (check the “Do a Manual Update Check Now” checkbox): https://themeover.com/microthemer-1-1-2-with-auto-update-feature/

Let me know if you run into any more problems!

Cheers,

Hi. First of all congratulations! I am really happy with this purchase. As I can imagine I only can use an artisteer or 2011 themes and the other blancs you provide. The thing is I NEED to insert my logo and I don´t see the possibility to do it with in any of the blanc themes available. Can you suggest me a way to do it?
Regards

Hi there,

You can add a logo to your theme by giving an element (e.g. your site title) a background image – and some padding to make room for the background image.

Part 4 of the Microthemer walk-through video gives an example of adding a logo to a theme. See this link for the right part of the video: http://www.youtube.com/embed/M3NKA27rOzg?rel=0&wmode=transparent&autoplay=1#t=10m25s

Let me know if you’re still stuck!

Cheers,

Sebastian
