Notice: this information was written when Microthemer version 2 was current. On Dec 26th, 2014 version 3 was released with a completely new interface. Some of the information may be redundant, but as much of the functionality remains the same in version 3 we haven't deleted this post. Hi, When I develop a website using Microthemer, and move it to another server when I go live, I can no longer do any changes. I keep getting an error saying: Reloading the page is normally a quick fix. |

Hey, Thanks for alerting me to this. Another customer had a similar problem which I thought I had fixed but as the problem occurred intermittently I couldn’t be 100% sure. It’s useful that you mention the problem occurred after moving over to a new server. Thinking back, I think the other guy had started on localhost and then moved to a live server. Thanks for the error report too. I’ll investigate this now. Would it be possible for you to email me login details for the live server you moved too? https://themeover.com/support/pre-sales-enquiries/ Many Thanks, Sebastian |

This problem has been fixed now. It was due to a setting on your server max_input_vars. This appears to be a new PHP settings that limits the amount of data that can be sent using a form post. Microthemer now has safeguards against this problem. For a detailed explanation see this tutorial: https://themeover.com/avoiding-save-errors-after-editing-lots-of-selectors-by-using-the-speedup-button/ Upgrading to Microthemer 2.4.7 will help you resolve this issue.
