Show Microthemer to non admin users

Heads up! this post was created when Microthemer was at version 5. The current version is 7. Some references to the interface may be out of date.

I see in one of the release note posts that it should be possible to show Microthemer to non admin level users, Editors for example. I cannot find where to set this preference. Can someone tell me please?

Hey,

I’m not sure which release note you’ve found, but this configuration option hasn’t actually been added to Microthemer yet (it is on the todo list though).

Ah yes, that was fixing an issue where the Microthemer link could show to non-admins in the top toolbar. But because non-admins don’t have the correct privileges they were getting a 403 access denied error. This was fixed by removing the erroneous menu item. But making access configurable is a feature that will come later.
