Heads up! this post was created when Microthemer was at version 4. The current version is 7. Some references to the interface may be out of date. We are using microthemer plugin on http://staging2.buzzwebmedia.com.au to apply frontend styling. The plugin is working fine on local but it seems there is some hosting related conflict. We have tried clearing cache but it has no effect. Some details are also sent through contact form. |

Thanks zoelana, I’ve responded to your email requesting permission to disable some plugins in my search for the cause. Cheers, |

Hi, I made the test and found out that the plugin that conflicts is js-css optimizer. Is there a plugin similar to this that you can recommend that will be compatible with microthemer? Thanks. |

Hi Zoelana, I use w3 total cache for caching, minifying and concatenating stylesheets. I find that all optimization plugins require a little patience and configuration to work well. With regards to working well with Microthemer, just remember to use the ‘clear all caches’ option in w3 total cache after making some changes in Microthemer. Otherwise your style changes will appear for you (as a logged in user) but not for your site visitors (who will see cached pages). I hope that helps, if you need further assistance please let me know. Cheers, |
