Another developer you might consider hooking up with. http://wp-types.com Types is a free custom types and taxonomies plugin for WordPress. Views is a premium plugin for data presentation. Together they can help designers create powerful, data-driven sites without touching PHP. They have recently produced a Theme Pack for clients: http://wp-types.com/documentation/views-inside/views-base-theme/ But their bag is data and presentation. CSS is down to the designer. I’m sure you could support that base theme and tap into the Types and Views client base.
