Heads up! this post was created when Microthemer was at version 4. The current version is 7. Some references to the interface may be out of date. Just curious to know. If we use Microthemer on a free theme and the free theme has an option to purchase the pro theme. Would microthemer in effect be able to configure more or less the same features as the premium theme would give? |

Hi there, It really depends on what features the premium theme offers. If it only provides extra features for restyling content on the page, it might not be worth it. But if the premium theme allows you to add new content like a slideshow or video gallery, it might be worth it (so long as you have a use for those features). Feel free to post a link to the premium theme if you’d like to me assess the potential merits of upgrading. Cheers, |

Hi Paul, Researching a comparison between the lite and pro it seems faster support and a few features such as such as Google maps, a Subscribe section, and a Portfolio section are included in the premium: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/lite-vs-pro-2 The premium option has ‘more customisation’ options but it’s unclear to me exactly what kind of customisations from what I’ve read.
