Stylesheets not working when switching to child theme

Heads up! this post was created when Microthemer was at version 6. The current version is 7. Some references to the interface may be out of date.

I recently needed to switch to a child theme and discovered that all the customizations I’d made had disappeared.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Hey,

Using a child theme shouldn’t be a problem if the child theme doesn’t change the HTML of the site. Normally, child themes don’t do this in any significant way. Could you send me a link to a page where the styles no longer take effect, which a description of which elements used to be styled in a certain way?
