Add script with microthemer? [to add new content]

Heads up! this post was created when Microthemer was at version 4. The current version is 7. Some references to the interface may be out of date.

Can I add a simple script using microthemer?
It’s a simple Secure SSL site seal: https://www.alphassl.com/support/ssl-site-seal.html

Is there a way to do this in microthemer or do I need to look at other options? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Unfortunately you can’t add new content to the page with Microthemer, like the site seal you suggested. You can only style existing content on the page.

You would need to copy and paste the SSL cert to one of your theme files (e.g. footer.php) or maybe add the seal via a WordPress widget.

Hi Sebastian,
Yes, I thought that might be the case so I have modified a template file for the page in question after copying it to the child theme. Got it done thanks.
