I notice in the network trace I’m getting a 404 error for sprintf.js

Any ideas why this would be?

Name Protocol Method Result Content type Received Time Initiator

I have the same error in my console

Hi guys,

I’m not sure actually, Microthemer’s link to that file should be: /wp-content/plugins/microthemer/js/sprintf/sprintf.min.js

Are you both using the latest version of Microthemer?

Cheers,
Sebastian

bonest

Yes the very latest.

Sebastian

Hmm. Would one of you mind sending me login details for the affected site via this secure contact form so that I can troubleshoot this further?

Thanks,

P.S. sorry for the slow reply, I’ve just got back from my honeymoon.

Hey Sebastian… I’ll try to get it reproduced. It’s odd, I went to the site just now to give you access but I’m not seeing the same 400 error now. So I’m not sure what to tell you.

Sebastian

@NormsIM no problem. I wonder if this issue occurred in an older version, and the issue was cached in your browser even though you were using a new version? But I’m particularly convinced by my own argument there.

@bonest
are you still getting the issue?

Cheers,
Sebastian

I’m still seeing the missing sprint.js message in the browser console. Here’s the message I get… (on a test site)

Could not locate http://beta.wellnessstockshop.com/wpb/wp-content/plugins/microthemer/js/src/sprintf.js specified in source map http://beta.wellnessstockshop.com/wpb/wp-content/plugins/microthemer/js/sprintf/tvrsprintf.min.js.map.

Sebastian

Hey,

You can safely go ahead and delete tvrsprintf.min.js.map, as that’s an auto-generated file that was included in the Microthemer accidentally. That should get rid of your console warning. I’ve just noticed that this file wasn’t removed from our wordpress.org version of Microthemer after our last conversation about this (the wordpress.org version is sometimes used and automatically unlocked when people auto-update).

Cheers,
Sebastian
