HI, I read in another forum post that one must re-zip the file as macs seem to automatically unzip them. I did that before attempting to upload into plugins but keep getting an error message:
“unable to create directory uploads/2015/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
From the error message you’re getting it sounds like you might be trying to upload Microthemer via the media manager. WordPress actually has a dedicated page for uploading the plugin via the plugins section of the WordPress admin area.
