Heads up! this post was created when Microthemer was at version 4. The current version is 7. Some references to the interface may be out of date. Is it possible to style multiple instances of an element, for instance a menu that will appear on several pages of a site, without repeating the work on each instance? Thanks… |

Absolutely. You just need to choose a broader selector from the suggestions in the selector wizard’s targeting tab. If you can post a link to your site I can advise you more specifically on what to do. Thanks. |

Thanks Sebastian. My computer decided today was a good day to freak out, and after a restore thinks it’s living in August still. I’ll get back to you tomorrow when I’m in charge again… N |

Thanks Sebastian . The computer is back on course, but I can’t send you a link as I’m developing the site locally. I take what you say about choosing a broader selector, but finding it difficult to apply to the somewhat tortuous CSS on the Elegant Themes’ Divi theme I’m using. Meanwhile I shall scrape my pennies together soon and head on over to buy your super program… a real asset with so much potential it seems on my short acquaintance. I’ll get back to you when I can make a more specific question regarding multiple targeting. Thanks again… Nick G |
