Styling multiple instances of an element

Is it possible to style multiple instances of an element, for instance a menu that will appear on several pages of a site, without repeating the work on each instance? Thanks…

Sebastian

Absolutely. You just need to choose a broader selector from the suggestions in the selector wizard’s targeting tab. If you can post a link to your site I can advise you more specifically on what to do. Thanks.

Thanks Sebastian. My computer decided today was a good day to freak out, and after a restore thinks it’s living in August still. I’ll get back to you tomorrow when I’m in charge again… N

No problem. I’ll be here when you’re ready.

Thanks Sebastian . The computer is back on course, but I can’t send you a link as I’m developing the site locally. I take what you say about choosing a broader selector, but finding it difficult to apply to the somewhat tortuous CSS on the Elegant Themes’ Divi theme I’m using.

Meanwhile I shall scrape my pennies together soon and head on over to buy your super program… a real asset with so much potential it seems on my short acquaintance.

I’ll get back to you when I can make a more specific question regarding multiple targeting. Thanks again… Nick G
