Notice: this information was written when Microthemer version 2 was current. On Dec 26th, 2014 version 3 was released with a completely new interface. Some of the information may be redundant, but as much of the functionality remains the same in version 3 we haven't deleted this post.

Hi Bilbo,

If you don’t know CSS you may struggle to use the current version of Microthemer to customize themes we haven’t released a Theme Pack for: https://themeover.com/theme-packs/

However, version 2 will have a feature where you can double-click on a web page element (e.g. a heading, or an image, or sidebar) and Microthemer will present a “Selector Wizard” that will help you target exactly what you want to edit (e.g. all links, just links in the menu etc etc). This feature will make Microthemer applicable to ANY WordPress theme.

I’m going to pre-release version 2 to current customers in less than a week. (The main release will be in about a month, when I’ve had time to update the video documentation).

Are you able to hang on for a little while for version 2? Note, if you sign up for our Newsletter you be notified when version 2 is released: http://eepurl.com/eKWHM

(BTW as with all Microthemer upgrades, upgrading from version 1.x to version 2 will be completely free).

Regards,

Sebastian
