So I know that by default the header changes at Mictothemer should take effect the whole site, to make it i only one page I needed to set page id in selector code, but over here the changes o header just take effect at Home. Somebody have an idea what I need configure to come to default? |

Hey there, There’s actually been a change in the default behaviour since Microthemer 7.3. Styles are specific to the current page unless you flip the Global switch at the bottom left of the interface. You can make your current header styles global by either:
The following videos explain how the new Global|Page switch at the bottom left can be used, and how to customise folder logic:
I hope that helps. Let me know if anything doesn’t make sense. Cheers, P.S. you no longer need to use page-id prefixed selectors to set page-specific styling, as the folder logic features are often preferable. |

Hello, I’m new to MT. I have the opposite question. How can I make global styles? I see that you commented above that you can switch the toggle in the lower left to global but nothing additional seems to be changing when I do that. Ty, |

Hey Douglas, The switch affects how additional styles are organised. When you switch to global styles, new selectors will be added to a global (solid icon) folder. It doesn’t affect previously created styles. To make them global, you can drag and drop them into one of the default global folder (e.g. General, Header, etc). The folders video shows how to move selectors between folders. https://themeover.com/folders/ I hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions. Cheers, P.S. you can also change the targeting of the page specific folder your existing selectors are in to make it global. The conditional loading video explains that. |
