MT not working in cloned site from WMPU Dev Cloner plugin [RESOLVED]

Sebastian,

I am using MT in a multisite network (that you’ve helped me with before).

I cloned http://preachnet.com/freeindeed/ into http://preachnet.com/clone/ using the WMPMU Cloner plugin. This is on a multisite network.

While MT did clone into the /clone subsite, and is active, it is not working. As you can see /clone is not rendering any of the css generated by MT in /freeindeed.

When I go into MT, all the CSS selectors and GUI CSS settings are there, but it’s not making any changes. I’m assuming it’s looking for /freeindeed instead of /clone or something. In either case, what do I do to get this right?

Thanks,
Rob

Update:

It all appears to be working now. Here’s what I did.

I had some MT css applied to a particular menu item, the ID of which was different in the cloned site. So I changed that number in the selector for that menu item’s css. Not only did that make the correct MT CSS show for that menu item, but it also made all other MT css on that subsite begin rendering correctly.

So it’s working, but very strange. Do you have any ideas on what is going on with this?

Hey Robert,

I suspect that your settings started applying again simply because you saved them again once in Microthemer on the new install. This refreshes the active-style.css stylesheet.

The menu id issue will always need to be manually fix though.

Cheers,
Sebastian

I suspected that that might have been the after they came back after I resaved a selector with the new menu id.

Thanks,
Rob
