Question about History

Hello,

I am reading this doc:

https://themeover.com/microthemer-undo-restoring-previous-settings/

It is said that “Microthemer keeps track of your previous 50 saves” and the screenshot shows them numbered, but I can not see this numbering in the actual history. It is still of 50 saves? If not, is there some way to clear the history?

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Best regards.

Hey,

We removed the revision number column to make more space for text in the User Action column.

There isn’t currently a way to clear the history without clearing all of Microthemer’s settings. If you don’t mind wiping everything and starting fresh, please do the following:

  1. Go to Microthemer > Preferences > Inactive
  2. Set Upon Uninstall, Delete ALL Microthemer Data to “Yes”
  3. Save your preferences
  4. Deactivate and then uninstall Microthemer
  5. Re-install Microthemer
  6. When you access Microthemer your history will be empty

Actually, if you want to clear your history but keep your current selectors, please export and download your settings before following the steps above. And the Import your settings after following the steps above. You can import/export via the Packs menu. See here for more detailed instructions: https://themeover.com/installing-importing-design-packs/

BTW is there a specific reason why you want to clear your history?

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you very much for your detailed reply.

The only reason I could think to want to clear the history would be if it would become too long. But if it is still 50 saves, it is perfectly ok, but since numbering was not showing I thought that this number could have been increased in more recent versions. Could you please confirm that it is still 50 saves?

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you very much once again for your attention.

Best regards.

Ha, sorry I failed to answer your main question!

Yes, it’s still only 50 saves 🙂

Cheers,
Sebastian
